As an artist I’m interested in transforming the everyday into the fantastic. My projects are filled with exaggerated characters, puppets, body masks, and creatures. I overlap the personal with the political in a humorous juxtaposition, encouraging empathy through my work.

I work across mediums in performance, puppetry, video and animation. Most of my projects have an element of autobiography, and I hope that through sharing my stories my audience will be able to recognize their own. I’m interested in building community, and often allow audience participation to influence the final outcome of a piece.
